For Pilots That Have a License Already We Offer Following Services

  • Flight Review is required by the FAA to maintain your pilot certificate, every 24 months.

    One hour of ground and one hour of flight with a CFI. Instructor will sign an endorsement in the pilots logbook.

    We specialize in working with students that have not been flying for a while.

    Based on your recent experience we will design a special program that will work for you to complete the Flight Review and be current and enjoy flying again.

  • We provide our airplanes for you.

    Fly on a professional and well maintained aircraft.

    We offer airplane rental to pilots wet (including fuel).

    Pilot will need to provide a copy of his current medical and pilot certificate, complete a check out flight with one of our instructors and get a Non Owner Insurance. Pilot will have access to our scheduling system and can schedule his flights.

    For Airplane Owners - our instructors can fly and train you on your own airplane.

    Our flight instructor will need to be added to the airplane insurance.

    Instructor need to have access to the maintenance logbooks upon request.

    NOTE - Pilot in Training Flight Academy might decline to fly student’s airplane if we think it’s unsafe or not equipped to our minimum standard.

  • An IPC is a full review of knowledge and procedures needed to safely fly an aircraft on an instrument flight plan flown under actual or simulated instrument meteorological flight conditions.

  • Get familiar with the airspace, operation procedure and radio communication

FAQ

  • Pilot in Training Flight Academy will collect your pilot documents. We require pilots to obtain Non Owner Renters Insurance and go trough a standard procedure of a Check-Out flight with one of our flight instructors. Once completed the check-out flight and approved you will be added to our scheduling system and our closed chat group with other pilots that build time.

  • FAA require at least one hour of ground and one hour of flight.

  • At the moment we have several Cessna 172 M and N models. All the airplanes equipped with Garmin GNS 430 or 530 WAAS, ADSB IN & OUT with Bluetooth capabilities. All airplanes IFR equipped and approved.

  • Airplane Rental Fee is $159 . We charge additional Fuel Surcharge fee. We are trying to keep our rental fees competitive. The prices might be changed for more accurate and up to date numbers please contact the office at 301.764.288

  • You can pay with Cash/Check/Credit card/PayPal. Credit card fees might apply. Pilot/student pay as they go, once invoice received.
