Our flight school was founded by Slava Mordeyaev,
a Senior Flight Instructor and Commercial Pilot who brings a unique technique and approach that he personally developed by using his experience as a mechanic in the Israeli Air Force, an active flight instructor, and a commercial pilot in the US.
Our professional team consists of professional commercial pilots, experienced instructors, DPEs (as consultant examiners), mechanics, customer support center and many more.

At Pilot in Training Flight Academy, we're thrilled to offer a dynamic summer camp experience tailored specifically for young aviation enthusiasts. Our camp is designed to ignite curiosity, inspire creativity, and foster a lifelong love for aviation. Campers will have the opportunity to delve into the fundamentals of flight through interactive workshops, hands-on projects. From learning about aerodynamics and aviation technology to experiencing the thrill of piloting an aircraft, the sky's the limit for our campers' exploration! PPL GROUND SCHOOL
Our Private Pilot Ground School is the premier choice for aspiring pilots looking to master the essential theoretical subjects for a Private Pilot License. Our classroom environment fosters active learning, encouraging students to ask questions and benefit from the experiences of their peers. The program was designed by Slava Mordehaev, a senior flight instructor and commercial pilot.
Our program offers a 25-hour comprehensive curriculum. Classes are conveniently held at Montgomery County Airpark once a week for 10 weeks, from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.

Minimum 2 months to a one year and it all directly depends on student pilot’s schedule and availability. For someone available once a week probable will finish within one year.
In order to finish within two months the student will require to fly every day and sometimes twice a day.
FAA require to log at least 40 flight hours but the average to obtain PPL is around 65 flight hours. -

New student will be required to provide proof of US Citizenship (valid US passport or Birth Certificate) or meet the Flight Training Security Program requirements (Very standard procedure, TSA standard check) and have at least 3rd Class FAA medical or Basic Med.

Yes, minimum age for a first solo is 16 and the minimum age to obtain a Private Pilot License is 17.

Pilot in Training Flight Academy unique ground program will prepare you to the FAA written/knowledge test and will review and cover the required subjects of the FAA, this program will introduce you to the theoretical part of aviation.
Upon completion you will receive an endorsement from your instructor that state that you completed to ground school and you are ready for your final exams.
